Optimization services is conformed, by a group of professionals, with wide experience on Manufacturing and commerce industries. Stablished in Monterrey, state of Nuevo Leon, in Mexico, since 2020. The main purpose is to aim at cost reduction projects, thru finance, and Industrial Engineering analysis, supported by the concept of Lean process.

It has been demonstrated that cost and expense reduction is given resource optimization, improving process, and looking for alternate sources of materials, or product design.

Now more than ever there is a compelling need to work towards continuous improvement, working with our customers, and face challenges to find optimization solutions.

LUIS GARCIA AVITIA, IIA, MII, MBA, Optimization Services Founder and team leader, with wide experience in line balancing, continuous flow, production process, Continuous Improvement Coordinator, with more than 30 years, Managing Manufacturing Plants, mainly on Metal Mechanic Process, metal painting finishes, and assemblies, at Plants: Fanal, Thomas & Betts, Condumex, Norseman, & Brink. Master in Industrial Engineering, specialized on Productivity Master in General Administration and Finance Diploma from Monterrey Technological Institute. Six Sigma leader for various projects.

The initial audit consists of a through questionnaire where we’ll see the financial statement, the process, and observed data. This audit part usually takes around 2 days, if the information is available.

Data analysis is the step where we get financial rates, pie charts, make a VSM, or a flow diagram, to identify potential savings either on labor time, direct materials, energy, indirect material, purchase price variation and process cost.

We use a Pareto chart and match against saving benefit, and change cost, if any. On this step is where we identify the savings, foresee the use of Lean Tools.

The action plan, is developed using a Gantt or a Hoshing Kanry Chart for task, assignment, in order to reach the cost reduction goals. On this step is where we identify the savings and timing.

Monitoring is a follow up action to ensure actions are taken, and savings become reality, according to plan.

If deviations exist, this is the step, where we can monitor and get back in track.
